About NPTA

Mission

The Northbridge PTA supports and speaks on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children; strives to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children; encourages parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation. We encourage your attendance at monthly meetings, which can serve as a type of forum where parents, teachers, administrators, and other concerned adults may discuss ways to promote quality education, strive to expand the arts, encourage community involvement, and work for a healthy environment and safe neighborhoods.

Goals

1. To make it fun and rewarding to be a part of the Northbridge PTA
2. To ensure that our volunteers feel welcomed and informed
3. To increase membership and participation of teachers
4. To increase parent membership and participation
5. To improve communications outreach with a continually enhanced website and monthly paper-based newsletters
6. To effectively use emails as a way of keeping members informed
7. To sustain financial transparency for the membership and school community at large
